David is a successful Personal and Leadership coach with a portfolio of clients including owners and Managing Directors of SME’s as well as leaders working in larger organisations such as local Councils, the England & Wales Cricket Board, the NHS and the Police. He has a wide range of experience in organisational change and development with both large and small businesses in a variety of sectors including Manufacturing, Science & Technology, Financial Services, Banking, IT, Education, Local Government, Marketing & Communications, Sport & Leisure and the Cultural Industries. In the past he has been a director of creativity@work; a business that provided creativity and innovation development for businesses.  He is a Fellow of the RSA.

His work includes delivering programmes on specific themes such as leadership, coaching, marketing, creativity & innovation, motivation and conflict management as well as structuring cultural change programmes running over a longer period of time. He created the successful Yorkshire Leadership Programme, “one of the best, cutting edge, and personal development days in Yorkshire”.

A graduate of the Coach University Training programme, member of the International Coach Federation and Fellow of both the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Management Institute, David employs a variety of approaches to support individuals to create positive change in their personal and business lives.

His approach draws on a variety of sources from Western and Eastern approaches to development of people and organisations, including working in Peru with the teachers and shamans from the Q'ero Indians who live in the high Andes Mountains.  As well as being a qualified coach, he has a B.Ed (Hons), an MA and M.Phil.  He is an NLP Master Practitioner and also certified in Spiral Dynamics Integral. He is a registered provider for the Leeds City Region LEP.

David has spoken on creativity, learning, strategy & change, human resources and leadership development at events in the UK, China, Africa, the Emirates and in Eastern Europe.  He also facilitates Open Space, World Cafe and Action Learning events as well as working with story, myth and the wild land.  He is co-author of Alchemy in a Shoebox.
