 David Taylor is a coach, change agent and speaker. A graduate of the Coach University Training programme, member of the International Coach Federation and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, he has been trained in a variety of approaches to support individuals to create positive change in their personal and business lives. This training draws on a variety of sources from Western and Eastern traditions, including working in Peru with the teachers and shamans from the Q'ero Indians who live in the high Andes Mountains.
Through the edge - coaching and development he is working as a coach and facilitator with both individuals and a variety of organisations. He is a Director of creativity@work, a creativity and change management consultancy based in Wakefield, working with clients from the private, public and charitable sectors throughout the UK. He also created the successful Yorkshire Leadership Programme to develop new, innovative approaches to leadership development. He is able to draw on previous careers as an actor, lecturer and director working in the theatre, including a spell as the comic front man for a musical act touring theatres and clubs in the North of England.
As a coach he has coached a variety of individuals to achieve results in relationships, finance, career development, business, leadership and finding their direction in life. He has also developed and run programmes for groups of people looking to stretch their boundaries and grow. He has worked with organisations and businesses in Education, Training and Personal Development for over twenty years with a variety of clients and has been mentor to a number of managers working in large organisations and has developed management training programmes aimed at senior and middle managers.
He is currently working with a number of clients developing individual and group Leadership programmes for them. As well as being a qualified coach, David has a B.Ed (Hons), an MA and M.Phil. He is an INLPTA certified NLP Master Practitioner and also certified in Spiral Dynamics Integral. He is a member of the Leading Coaches group, a UK network of coaches working with Executive Managers. He is one of their Mentor Coaches.
He has spoken on creativity, motivation for success and leadership development at events in the UK, China and in Eastern Europe.
